and apparently attacking too…
I don’t even too much know how to report this one.
On some Hitchcock ish…
My dad has reported to me that for the 4th time in the last month and a half, a bird has flown into him while he was on one of his daily walks.
Scenario: My dad’s walking down the street, to the same corner where this happened last time. He gets there, sure enough, this bird swipes his arm. We’re not talking an eagle, just a black bird, but still, the hutspah! What makes it worse, someone walks by moments later, and the bird chills out.
When I was 14, my father and I took a trip to NYC, just him and me while my mother, sister, and dog stayed home. It was a great trip, and one of my fondest memories of NYC ever. While I climbing the ever-so-dangerous Statue of Liberty, a pigeon sent a father-seaking doo-doo bomb right on my Dad’s head.
Years later, he once took a class on a field trip to Metrozoo, and the same thing happened, in front of his students!!!
What’s the beef between my father and birds? Yo no se.
He’s more of a fish guy than chicken, so I doubt that’s it. Whatever it is, these birds are blatantly disrespecting my father. He needs to get a healing or get a cat, quick!!
