Flashback Friday

Friday, May 27th, 2011

Since it seems like it’s Beyonce season, I’ve decided to go back to the song that really started it all. I know she was with Destiny’s Child earlier, but Crazy In Love (2003) to me was her break out song! I love this song and whenever it comes on, I must try and do the dance! It’s just full of energy and the video was great. Before Beyonce and Jay Z were Mr and Mrs. One word of caution to you all, do not attempt to listen to this song while on the treadmill… I found out the hard way! Happy Friday!

The New Muppet Movie

Thursday, May 26th, 2011

This trailer totally caught me off guard! But it looks like it will be a super cute movie. I love the Muppets, especially Kermit and Ms. Piggy. I guess I know what I will be doing after eating tons of turkey and before I began my Black Friday shopping!

Beyonce Is Back!!!!

Monday, May 23rd, 2011

I didn’t really get to catch the Billboard Music Awards last night because of the Heat game and making amazing things happen with Dangerously Beautiful.  After reviewing the performances this morning, I realized that I really didn’t miss that much except for Beyonce’s performance! Amazing (sorry about the line in the middle, but best sound quality and complete). I’m not a huge fan of the song or the video, but no one can deny that her performance last night was an example of the true entertainer she is. She really give 5000%. I also loved her acceptance speech for the Millennium award and how she thanked her husband. I love it when people can express their feelings so freely

Men have been giving the chance to rule the world, but ladies our revolution has begun. Let’s build a nation. Women everywhere, run the world!”

Pure definition of Dangerously Beautiful women!

Flashback Friday

Friday, May 20th, 2011

Keeping the 90′s strong in May, today’s Flashback Friday was a battle of the guy groups. I didn’t realized how difficult it would be to pick one. There are just sooo many great options. I went back a bit and started with H Town, Shai, Silk, Mint Condition, Troop, Jodeci, and of course Boyz II Men. Talk about decisions (and that’s not including the late 80′s that really started the 90′s sound with groups like Guy). And then I had to add the later 90′s…Jagged Edge, K-Ci & JoJo (not to be confused with Jodeci), Dru Hill, and 112. Such great music and so many memories listening to awesome songs.

Going down memory lane, the song that got the best of me was I’ll Make Love To You by Boyz II Men. There were some close seconds, but that song will forever be one of my favorites. It just never gets old. Boyz II Men was consistent with the hits. They’re albums are classics and really the most successful group of the 90′s. What’s your favorite guy group of the 90′s?

Miss Mykie- Racks Remix

Thursday, May 19th, 2011

I <3 Miss Mykie.

I found her a few months a go right before she released Love Repair. She has so much swag that pops off the screen with every luscious video.  Peep her racks remix, almost makes this unbearable track pop off.

For the bonus, here’s the video that made me fall in <3 with her:

She’s so Dangerously Beautiful.

CG Burgers In Miami

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

Being that May is National Burger Month, I have been looking for a yummy burger.  Now, I’m a very picky burger eater.  I’m not a McDonald or Burger King kinda girl at all (please don’t judge). I normally have to make my own. So when I heard that there was a new place opening in Miami and they were giving away free burgers, I couldn’t think of one reason not to go!

Check out the journey here!
