Where have I been? I love this Minnie OPI collection.OPI made a red-and-pink filled collection paying homage to the iconic Minnie Mouse. Love it! There’s a light pink “If You Moust You Moust,” a shimmery magenta “I’m All Ears,” and a red “The Color of Minnie.” My favorite is the glitter-and-hearts varnish, “Nothin’ Mousie ’bout It.” I love my girly pinks and reds!
I try really hard not to be a snob about nail polish, but OPI is my absolute favorite! No matter how many bottles I have, I always want at least 2 colors from the newest collection. Lately ‘Gel’ has been the latest craze. No OPI, not interested! Well now I’m paying attention. OPI has added a GelColor collection. So far there are 30 amazing hues such as Malaga Wine, Bubble Bath and Lincoln Park After Dark. Oh and did I mention there’s one representing the 305 named Miami Beet! The chip free polish that hardens in 30 seconds under a LED light last 2 weeks. Can’t wait to experiment!
O.P.I. has done it yet again. Leave it up to them to create a great start to the fall season. To celebrate the release of the new Muppet movie, O.P.I. is releasing a collection of Muppet-inspired nail polish. With so many creative names like Animal-istic, Wocka Wocka, Gone Gonzo, Fresh Frog of Bel Air, and Gettin Miss Piggy With It, you know I will have to grab a few bottles for my own little piggys. The limited edition colors will be available in November.
You guys know I’m a sucker for new shades for my piggies! Check out OPI’s Summer 2011 collection, Nice Stems! The shades range from pale rosy pink, bright coral, to bold fuchsia. A pink for everyone! Then there’s I Lily Love You which is a glitter coat that can be layered over any of the other three shades to add a bright sparkle, or can be worn on its own for a subtle tint of pink with strands of glitter. I can’t wait to experiment this week! Which one should I do first?
I have to admit that I’m not that excited about yet another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but OPI’s nail polish is a sure winner for me. Now, I don’t really see the correlation to the movie with the colors, but I love them!!! They totally look like Spring. I’ve been into teals lately (the piggys are nice and square looking like Tiffany packages) and I can’t wait to get my hands on the Mermaid Tears the sea foam green color. The collection debuts in May. Who’s going with me to pick some new shades?
I love nice nails, but I just don’t have the patience for doing designs and whatnot. Well you’re in luck if you feel the same way I do, OPI (which is my favorite by far) is releasing a new Katy Perry collection. Not only are the colors hot, but there’s a black top coat that when dried adds crackle to the color (looks like you took time to design it!) You can use the top coat on any nail color, but who wouldn’t want to try out these hues. They include Teenage Dream (a plummy pink sparkle), The One That Got Away (a deepest dark berry purple), Not Like the Movies (metallic silver), and Last Friday Night (a Crayola blue glitter). I can’t wait to try them out!
Now, this is a sign of the future. You can try on nail polish and not have to worry about looking for remover. I love different nail polish colors and OPI happens to be my favorite brand by far . How cool is it that they created an AP which allows you to try on nail polish colors (for IPhone users only of course). You get to select your skin tone and like that you’re in business.
I have tons of colors, but I’m constantly buying more. I use nail polish as a little way to express myself. Don’t call me crazy, but I prefer very nude colors on my hands and whatever I am in the mood for on my toes! No color is out when it comes to the piggies. The only reason I like nude colors on my fingers is because no matter how expensive the nail polish, it always chips and I hate chipped polish. Super tacky!
